    Try:-
    Code:
    sudo apt-get remove --purge flashplugin-nonfree
    Think carefully before executing commands containing "rm", especially "sudo rm -rf ", if you require more information concerning this matter, read this.
    I am an experimenter, give me the most stable OS and I can make it unstable in a few hours.

    Yeah I did that and this is what I got:
    james@james-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get remove --purge flashplugin-nonfree
    [sudo] password for james:
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
    Package flashplugin-nonfree is not installed, so not removed
    The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
    nspluginwrapper libflac++6 kdebase-bin libdbus-qt-1-1c2
    Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
