    Angry [SOLVED] freezes after reboot

i am trying to install ubuntu using wubi. i have an Advent 94145 Laptop with a Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor T2330 1.60Ghz with 2gb of RAM with Vista Home Premium.

Wubi installs fine and asks me 2 reboot, so i reboot n select Ubuntu from the boot options and then the Ubuntu Start Up screen apears and the orange bar bar freezes like after 2 seconds and a have 2 hold the power button on my lapptop 2 turn it off and boot into Vista.

    Thanks for veiwing

Press esc at boot after "ubuntu" and try the other boot options

    Re: freezes after reboot

Some machine require special boot parameters. Those are workaround for hardware that is not fully supported. The best course of action is

    1) try to boot with a physical live CD
    2) search this forum for the make and model of your machine
    3) report the bug in launchpad
