Firefox Crash

hai,
I m using ubuntu hardy with full fledged graphical features...
My firefox closes automatically sometimes...like when i open a video(Sometimes only)....
My major problem is when it crashes the active download is collapsed and when i reopen it the download starts from the first....One time the download finished 80% that time firefox closed automatically and when i reopen the download starts from 0%..
Is it a bug....IS there any fix for it....

Make sure your flash plugin is in your ~/.mozilla/plugins folder.
