hi i installed ubuntu recently , i have a collection of mp3's and i know about the codec add-on thing to play them but i dont have an internet connection , is there another way i can get my mp3s to play?
Re: MP3 help
How did you download it and burn it? How are you posting here? Sorry, maybe you're doing it at a library.
You could go to synaptics, mark the upgrades you want and then generate a package download script (top left corner, I think). This will create a text file showing you where the .debs are located. If you go somewhere that has an internet connection then download and burn them, you should be able to acces the updates from disc in Synaptics.
