In case someone decide to disassemble own laptop (upgrade or fix
something), but has no clue where to start or afraid to screw something up,
it's always a good idea to follow a proper manual.
What you could do is to look for a documentation at the website of Original
design manufacturer/Original equipment manufacturer. Two major players are
Quanta and Compal.
If someone needs a clarification about what ODM is and such, check out these
links:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origina...n_Manufacturer
http://tuxmobil.org/laptop_oem.html
Last link, as well, provides means to find an information about the
manufacturer of your laptop, in particular.
One way to do it is to, carefully (read: close the lid, hold in both hands),
put your laptop upside down, and look for a sticker with "Model Name:",
"Rating:", etc. fields on it.
Those of you who own panv3 may download the documentation from here:
