I'm using my desktop as a router connected directly to the modem and it functions as a gateway and as a dhcp server. Sometimes when clients like my laptop try to go to secure https sites such as gmail they sometimes say the certificate is only valid for *.gridserver.com Gridserver.com is part of mediatemple, which hosts my website, but I can't imagine how going to https://mail.google.com returns an ssl certificate from gridserver instead of from google. The only thing I can think of is that I may have used my website's domain as some domain on my computer somewhere, but I don't know where and I don't know why it should confuse the two things. The stranger bit is that this only happens sometimes - usually when the internet on goes down and I have to reset my cable modem or something. It also works just fine from my router computer itself - only clients have the problem. I'm just using Firestarter to set of the network and internet connection sharing. What can I check here?

Cheers,
Zac
