    Non-mac-owner's question about macs

They say when you delete a file on a mac, accidentally or not, it can't be recovered.

There are utilities on Windows OS that recover deleted files (if they were deleted with Shift+delete)

On Linux distros, apparently, you HAVE to know how to use the terminal in order to recover a deleted file, but it's possible there too.

Is there a way to recover lost files like that on pre-intel macs too? If yes, how?
Today, the world will end as you know it.
A good thing that is too, else you'd be as dumb as you were yesterday.

    Re: Non-mac-owner's question about macs

There are several tools to do this for OS X. Use google. But easiest will be to use time machine. So you can restore any files at any date...
