    Flash in xubuntu?

Dumb question: how do I install a flash plugin for seamonkey for xbuntu? Which one should I install? I searched using synaptic and could not find a single one.

If this matter, I put xubuntu in a friend's old Thinkpad 390E (PII 330MHz box) in an attempt to convince her she does not need a Windows box.

    Re: Flash in xubuntu?

You don't see flashplugin-nonfree in the list? Or are you saying it doesn't work in Seamonkey?

If you don't see it, maybe you need to enable the Universe and Multiverse repositories. If you haven't enabled them look here:
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Ubuntu

Hmmm... it says it's for Ubuntu 6.10. The steps on enabling Universe and Multiverse should still be accurate, but let us know for sure.

http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Gutsy has a section about installing flash...
