Firefox 3 RC1 No Address Bar

Hi I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 and upgraded FF3 beta5 to RC1 via Synaptic. Now the address bar and search bar is not showing. I removed all add-on, the ~/.mozilla folder and reinstalled RC1. The address and search bars are still not showing.

Anyone had a similar problem ? Help would be appreciated.

Right click on the file menu (at the top) and tick navigation toolbar, then it should show

The navigation tool bar is checked. The navigation icons (back,forward,reload...) are showing but not the address bar or search bar.

Ok you may have removed them from the toolbar. Right click on the file menus again and select customise and then, if visible, drag location and search into their appropriate positions on the tool bar

I found the source of my problem. I had a FF3 beta version still installed. I removed it and reinstalled FF3 RC1 and all is ok now.
