I'm using the latest Kubuntu on my Toshiba Equium laptop cause its one of the few distros to support HD audio. However at some point I've lost it - I can no longer hear any audio (yes the volume on the laptop and KMix are turned right up). In Amarok I tried to add real audio functionality. I've also installed through Adept; Kubuntu restricted codecs, WINE + San Andreas and Flight of the Amazon Queen. Short of reinstalling Kubuntu afresh - is there anything I can do?
