I have now tried to install hardy inside windows twice, on two completely different computers (one an HP desktop, and one an Acer laptop) and it has ended in the exact same result both times; after a couple of boots, Ubuntu fails to load and dumps the user in "BusyBox". It also appears as if a large number of files are now missing.

In the second case, windows wasn't even booted at all between Ubuntu being installed and it dying horribly. I have done a quick search of the forum but can't find any reference to it in the forums.

I have never encountered such problems installing Ubuntu on its own partition so I can't see that it could be anything I am doing. Has anyone else experienced this?
