Independant Enviroment Disk Image Software

Hey guys, I'm looking for a new disk imaging software, I was wondering if anyone knew of any that could be loaded independant of the OS and can grab the entire disk, certain partitions or whatever and even possibly export the finish images to an alternate installed drive, dvd-rw, or network / usb storage.

great suggestion, i downloaded it for further testing, hope it works out well... anyone else out there have others i love to test multiples at once to find the one i love best.
