    Seriously, if you love the machine, don't get a new one. I too have an old desktop which may be not even 5% fast as compared to my other one, but I love it

    Yep agree, my old machine is going to provide a wireless desktop on her stairs landing, just for net access. When it finally bites the dust it will be off to the recycle yard.
    Now I only need a wireless nic that will work on old pc.
