I saw the new ATI driver was released on the 21st. Here's mine:
Code:
311-laptop:~$ fglrxinfo
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: ATI Mobility Radeon X1300
OpenGL version string: 2.0.6473 (8.37.6)
For the most part mine is working alright and I can't think of any reason to upgrade, but I thought I'd ask. Do you see any reason to upgrade to the latest driver and if so, how can I revert if there's a problem? I've noticed a couple of "How-To's" but it's a .run file so I was just going to download it and do
Code:
sh ati-driver-installer-8-4-x86.x86_64.run
What would you suggest?
