Ubuntu 7.10 Stoping Alone Automount External USB HD

Guys, my Ubuntu 7.10 stop alone automount external usb HD.

I cant understand, I don't know what happen. I'm a noob user. Help-me please.

Is your external drive NTFS? Sometimes if you do not safely disconnect from windows it will not be able to automount anymore.

I do safely disconnect, I have other drive USB and the problem continue.

Are they both using NTFS?
