HP 930C Printer compatibility

Hi
Does anyone know if HP printers are generally compatible with Ubuntu, please?

I have an HP 930C colour inkjet printer and would like to use it with Ubuntu.

I have searched the compatibility lists but haven't been able to find relevant information.

Obviously I could just go ahead and install but would prefer to check out before creating problems etc, as not too techie minded in that way.

Advice regarding this would be much appreciated.

HP printers are very well supported in Ubuntu/Linux. According to this that printer will work PERFECTLY > http://www.openprinting.org/show_pri...P-DeskJet_930C

I'm impressed that you found such a database. Did you justs know of its availablility or did you do a search? If so, please let me know what keyword(s) you used so I may be able to try such searches in future.

You're Welcome Glad that I was able to help.
I knew of OpenPrinting. It is a good source to use to check the status of a printer. If the printer is supported or not and if any known issues.

Hopefully, should be able to get printer installed sometime this week. If I experience any problems, I will re-post as appropriate to the difficulty etc.
