So I've got an interesting situation. I'm sure many of you (or at least the HP laptop owners) know of the round of HP laptops that came out with faulty wireless, specifically the DV models. Well, I'd been using a USB wireless dongle for a long time to get wireless on my laptop, when today, out of nowhere, Ubuntu said I had new hardware drivers.
As it turned out, they were Broadcom wireless drivers. After installing them and flipping the switch, much to my surprise, my wireless worked!
I have a feeling that a reboot will cause it to stop working again, so I ask, does anybody know how to keep my wireless?
