When I start ubuntu with gnome in normal mode, the screen just appears white, with only mouse coursor on it. However, everything works (for example, I can switch the PC off if I remember exactly where all the buttons are), it just doesn't show anything.
When I use some special mode of startup (don't remember exactly what's it called, but it's something like Windows Safe Mode) it works fine, but I can't figure out how to deal with that problem.
