Iced Almond Soy Ubuntu, No Foam
A while back (a few months ago) I found a post that showed how to install 13 (or something like that) extra compiz plugins and I was pretty sure that I had subscribed to it but now when I go back to try to find it to install the plugins, the post is gone and I tried searching the forum and... no luck!
Am I going crazy and this never existed or was it removed for some reason? Has anyone else seen this howto post?

Yes, I thought I was subscribed to that as well. Another useful link is http://forlong.blogage.de/ The guy/girl seems to be a bit of a wizard when it comes to compiz and he/she often posts on this forum.

Apparently the origin compiz plugin post is in the Jail (whatever that means).

Hi... i tried to install the extra compiz plugins by following this guide http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showthread.php?p=56851 i followed the exact instructions. I wanted the atlantis 2 plugin... so i did the compiling thingy... i then tried to find the plgin in compiz yet it wasnt there.... i restarted compiz and still no atlantis 2.... someone plz help im absolutely new to ubuntu and im loving it.

The plugin is called "Cube Atlantis", under Effects.

Did you get any error when compiling?
I just tested it. Except for the fact that it slows everything down in my system (I don't have a powerful GPU), the plugin works.
