    WiFi multi-gigabit traffic

    hey,

My laptop has 802.11n. But turning on the wireless or switching between wireless stations generate an impulse of multi-gigabit. Two screenshots are attached. 1st one is when wifi gets sync initially, 2nd one is while switching to another wifi station.

Does anyone know why does it happen..? and does it mean that actual data of this much magnitude traverses the air interface (off course for a short interval)..?

    thx

There's not actually that much traffic. The specification for 802.11n doesn't even go up to gigabit let alone 10 gigabit. Looks like a bug to me.
