I've just done a new install of 8.04 Hardy Heron on my new lenovo R61i thinkpad and went ot set up wine the same way I always do. Install the wine package in synaptic and then copy the system files onto the hard drive and then run it from the terminal. However this time I got the screen in the attached screenshot and the following terminal output:
acegikmo@wrenchpad:~$ wine c:/Program\ Files/wow/WoW.exe -openGL

I've had a look around and cant find anything to explain what's going on.
The R61i uses an intel X3100 integrated graphics media accelerator for it's graphics but I cant find much useful information on that.
