How to add in custom dsdt?

    Hi Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04
My laptop is a toshiba satellite P105-S6024 and sound doesn't work. I know for a million percent sure its the acpi. With acpi=off sound works. In alsamixer the card is an HDA Intel and the chip is a Conexant CX20551. Im using Alsa 1.0.16. I'm not that great on ubuntu. However i found a fix.
Ive got that bios version. But how do i apply their compiled .hex into ubuntu. I've found some guides a long time ago but never did get it put into the kernel had some errors but now i've forgotten. Also I don't have to worry about the GPU fan because mine has this stupid intel that doesnt need a fan.
