I apologize if I don't give enough information about my problem but I'm a very new user of Linux so bear with me.

OS: Hardy Heron fully updated
Bluetooth Dongle: Belkin F8T001 Ver 2.11
Phone: Motorola i870

When I try to initiate a pairing from my phone to my computer I am able to enter my passcode and initiate pairing. When the OS displays a pop-up window stating that Ubuntu has paired with my phone it completely freezes and my caps lock and some other indicator next to num lock start flashing. I want to use my phone as a bluetooth modem but I can't seem to get past this problem. Any suggestions?
