    Help on wireless connection

    I installed linux on my laptop. now i need it to connect to the internet using wireless. what is the steps to connect to my home wireles network?

    well... it depends on your wifi card and whether it works out-of-the-box or not... i suggest you start by reading this https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/WiFiHowTo

    if you find that your card is not supported by default, it is probably easy to fix with ndiswrapper

    what card do you have?

    are you sure? as far as i know it is an ethernet card... please type lspci in the terminal and post the output here
