    i'm getting a new system soon, here are the specs (may go up a bit)

    Nemesis Elite case
    Athlon 64 3700+
    1024mb Corsair ?Xtreme? (can't remember the name)
    Nforce4 SLI Gigabyte mobo
    PCI-E 6800GS 256mb
    DVDROM
    DVD+/-RW DL
    200GB hdd
    ...and assorted small goodies, like a mem card reader
    So... a 1337 java programmer walks into a bar...

    The one and only computer I owned about this time last year I'd had for over 5 years. The video card was an nVidia TNT2 w/16(!) MB of RAM.

    i bought this in 1999 and to this day i haven't ever had a single hardware problem with it.
    i just repalced my 10GB Maxtor HDD with a 60GB because it was getting over crowded...also i replaced my RAM chips but only because the 64MB RAM it came with wasn't enough.
