I am trying to install openSS7 and during ./configure it says:
checking for kernel mach directory... configure: error:
*** Kernel machine directory:
*** does not exist, or there is no Makefile in the directory. Specify
*** the correct kernel machine directory using the --with-k-machdir
*** option to configure before attempting again.
I checked manually i386 dir. does not exist.
What do I need to install to get that dir.
Presumably you're building on Hardy given the kernel version. Since OpenSS7 is a pretty specialized package and Hardy is quite new, you might be better off asking via any forums or email lists at http://www.openss7.org/
