Is this laptop any good for gaming?

I would like to be able to play Spore ( !) and Oblivion.
Maybe Red Alert 3.
But thats about as high graphics demanding as I'm going to go really.

If not, any recommendations for a laptop under £500?.

I'd say the laptop would be fine. Not a bad graphics card and large amount of RAM. I know very little about AMD processors but can't imagine that it is a poor one.

All in all should be able to play those games nicely.
