    Ctrl + S leads to terminal crash

    When I press Ctrl + s (I have sort of a reflex), in console or in xterm, the console or xterm crashes.
    Why?

    It doesn't crash - CTRL+S means suspend output. If you press CTRL+Q, it will start its output again.
