    ATI Radeon 9550 + Lenovo L220x and 1920x1200 resolution

    Hi Folks,

I've got a proplem configuring my new LCD screen. I configured the screen by setting the display to "LCD 1920x1200" and selected "Wide Screen".

Therefore I was able to select a screen resolution of 1920x1200, but doing so the Festy Fawn sets up a virtual screen resolution and I have to scroll up/down and left/right.

    ATI driver: flgrx

    display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: ATI Radeon 9550 / X1050 Series
    OpenGL version string: 2.0.6473 (8.37.6)

    Ubuntu 7.10 Feisty Fawn

Screen: Lenovo L220x, native solution 1920x1200

    and here is my /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Now, how to set up my screen config correct to get my native resolution without scrolling?

    Thanks in advance

Hey i'm having the same prob, having to scroll left and right setting resolutions above 1024x768. Im using a M-Life wide LCD monitor(15 inch) together with my ATI Radeon 9550 series graphic card. At 1024x768 setting I managed to get it right without having to scroll left or right but it does not fit my monitor properly! Round icons on my desktop turn out to be oval in this setting. When i view photos, they are just out of shape! I've tried all resolution settings available and none fits. Please help...
