    *new User* having problems installing wireless driver

    hi guys

    im new to the whole ubuntu o/s world and after hearing so much about it and being amazed from what i have been seeing iv just downloaded it via wubi just to give it a try.

    so iv sat down to do the first step of connecting my desktop to the internet and after twiddeling my thumbs for over an hour i thought i wud come here for some friendly advice.

    i have a belkin wireless network adaptor which connects to the adsl wireless routor outside

    i have the drivers (Belkin F5D 7050v1) saved on my usb memory stick but i just can not install it

    what i need to know is: can i install this driver onto abuntu? and if so how?

    i have problems installing the NDISGTK

    any help would be appreciated
