How do I burn a .img file?

What application can I use to burn a CloneCD .img file with Linux Ubuntu?I have tried K3B and Brasero. If I can't burn the file is there at least some application that might convert the file over to a .bin or .iso file?

Kiso will do that type of conversion.

You can install it via Synaptic, or "sudo apt-get install kiso" from a terminal.

I believe a .img file is a Mac disc image file. I always get confused between that and .dmg
