Question [SOLVED] HELP Drive wrong free space!!

I installed Ubuntu 8.04 and now my drive says it has 643 gigs free and its only a 250 gig HD! I let the Ubuntu installer partition the drive guided. It split the drive 83 gig (old data Windows) and 167 gig I think (Ubuntu). I can boot and everything works right now. but when I went into window xp it ran chdsk and did something no clue what. XP runs fine because it is on c: and Ubuntu is on D: D is the one showing the wrong amount of free space.

Edit: After running chkdsk on the d: drive I notice that it actually said 643mb left not 643gig left. Ooops!!! This is exactly what it should say. (shouldn't work when sick I guess)
