Invalid Stream error playing all media.

I upgraded to 8.04 from 7.10 last night. All went fine, this morning I tried playing some music through Rythmbox. It would not play, I checked my external HD, it was on and I could read off the drive. I checked permissions to the drive, I had full permission.

I tried moving a movie file to the desktop and playing it from there. Same error.

I was given an error saying Invalid Stream or something of the sort.

The Error sais:

"Failed to connect stream: Invalid argument"

This happens in every media player I have tried.

Ok, I killed the process "pulseaudio" and media magically plays again.

Yet it's not a perminent fix.
