    Amaya Issues Problems and Resolves:
    Seems like a number of people are having problems with getting Amaya to run or to get Amaya 10 to install and run.

    When I start the program Amaya shows up and then suddenly disappears.
    I am using Ubuntu Hardy. In UbuntuStudio the program ran but was not stable.

    Code:
     amaya
    12:34:00 PM: Deleted stale lock file '/home/vital/.amaya_bin-vital'.

    (amaya_bin:7393): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_set_colormap: assertion `!GTK_WIDGET_REALIZED (widget)' failed
    The program 'amaya_bin' received an X Window System error.
    This probably reflects a bug in the program.
    The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
      (Details: serial 7203 error_code 8 request_code 143 minor_code 5)
      (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
       that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
       To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
       option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
       backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
    The program gets and error trying to remove it from the Add/Remove Applications also...
