    it happens with any youtube video, my cpu goes to 100%, that didn't happen to me in the 7.10 release

    r click on the flash video


    then enter the flash settings it will definatly give you a hardware acceleration option unless you are not using adobe flash.

    oh i remember uninstalling flash and installing gnash, let me revert it and tell you what happened

    I would install firefox 2 and see if you still have the same problems. You have to go to the synaptic manager to uninstall firefox 3, and start with a fresh copy of firefox 2. 3 being a beta still has some unusual quirks.

    If turning off hardware acceleration didn't work then i think you are stuck with buggy old flash 9 linux till the next flash update.

    Sorry all i can suggest is trying to watch your flash videos either under ie in wine (http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Main_Page) or in xp.
