    full screen closes

    Hey guys, sometimes when i try to watch videos in full screen, it closes and goes back to the normal sized video. this happens when i watch stuff online, like youtube and megavideo, but not in movie player. Any help with this??

    I dont know why, the only thing i can think of is to try running firefox from a terminal to see if it dumps any error output to it

    u mean just type "firefox" in the terminal?? well, i did that, it opened, but nothing else hapened

    It is the screensaver I assume. Disable it and you should stay full screen.

    no, it happens right when i open the full screen. i open it, then abt 2 seconds later it closes. for example, im watching this video, http://www.megavideo.com/?v=XM2PDFXX, i go to full screen, 2 secs later, it closes

    Disable compiz perhaps. It seems to be a Gnome thing that it does not like fullscreen. Although such an extreme case never happened for me.
