Thumbs down Do you have a program you want to force quit? I'll tell you how to...

Well I have a way for you lads. K3b was driving me nuts because it would burn about three disks and then go wonky. Had no idea how to force quit the thing and found this.

Right click on the panel at the top and go to Add to Panel. Then in Desktop and Windows you'll see a force quit button you can add to the panel. Add that sucker and away you go.

When K3b goes nuts click on the force quit button in the panel, click on the window of K3b and you're done!

    Sweet eh?

I thought we just need to click Close button. After a few seconds, it will ask you to wait or force quit.
I have always done that when FF hangs.

Or you can just go to system->administration->system monitor, and end the process, a lot simpler don't you think

In KDE you can hit, I think it is, ctrl+shift+del, and then click on what you want to kill. It's one of the features i miss about KDE.
