ipblock hardy heron 64-bit

I can't seem to get ipblock working in ubuntu. it freezes up upon updateing, and it gives me an iplist error and ipblock error when trying to enable.
edit: something about not being able to find level1.gz

well i let it finish trying to update and it had an error updating every single list. i think i may have ready something about the host shutting down or something. so the question is, what can i do at this point to get it to update and work?
