    No Workspace Switcher Names

Is there any way to assign names to the workspaces in Workspace Switcher when Visual Effects are set to Normal?

I'm running Ubuntu Hardy on a desktop computer. When I have Visual Effects set to Normal, I cannot assign Names to the workspaces in the Workspace Switcher. The Workspace Switcher Preferences lists columns and rows, but does not allow me to enter names for the workspaces.

If I set Visual Effects to None, the Workspace Switcher Preferences allows me to enter names for the workspaces, but the names disappear from the workspace icons in the panel as soon as I set Visual Effects back to Normal.

Is there any way around this problem? Thanks.

    Hi AK,

No, unfortunately I have not found a solution. I've pretty much given up on this issue. I may post this question to another forum to see if anyone knows how to fix this. If I find a solution, I will post it to this thread.
