    ibook g4 wireless

    I am considering buying an ibook 12" g4 1.2ghz laptop from ebay. What I want to know is will the wireless card work with ubuntu? I don't want OS X on there. If not is there any other laptops you know of that are white like the apple laptops? I would prefer that anyway.

    I think it will... I am not all that familar with pre-Intel hardware though. the best way to find out is determine what kind of wifi card it is... atheros? broadcom?
