It looks like you are able to see the wireless sites now. Are you able to connect?

Let's take a step back and see if everything is configured correctly. Please post the results of:
    Code:
    lshw -C network

Sadly, no. No wireless networks show up still. Just so you can eliminate the possibility my wireless switch is on. By the way, I really appreciate all the help you've given me and other community members.

Well, it looks like a configuration issue. Can you post the results of:
    Code:
    cat /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist*|grep -i -e bcm43xx -e b43 -e b44 -e ssb -e ndiswrapper
    cat /etc/modules|grep -i -e bcm43xx -e b43 -e b44 -e ssb -e ndiswrapper
If you can turn off your encryption, can you try the following:
    Code:
    sudo modprobe -r b43 b44 ssb ndiswrapper bcm43xx
    sudo depmod -ae
    sudo modprobe ndiswrapper
    sudo modprobe b44
    sudo ifconfig wlan0 up
    sudo iwlist scan
    sudo dhclient -r wlan0
    sudo iwconfig wlan0 essid girlfess
    sudo dhclient wlan0
I am just using "girlfess" mainly because it is the closest access point in your scan so I am assuming that it was yours. Just replace girlfess with the name of your access point.

You are going to want to clean up these two files. For the first file, you will need to edit it in admin mode:
    Code:
    gksu gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
You will need to remove the following lines:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install ndiswrapper-utils-1.9
    mkdir ~/bcm43xx; cd ~/bcm43xx
    and remove any duplicates.

You will also want to edit /etc/modules:
    Code:
    gksu gedit /etc/modules
and remove one of the ndiswrapper lines.

You will receive error messages when you load or unload modules (sudo modprobe/modprobe -r). Other than that, it generally do not cause any harm.
