    Smile Teaching a old dog new tricks!!!

    I just thought I'd say that we have a lot of older apple computers and xubuntu revives them and gets them energetic again. I just sold a 333Mhz 96MB RAM imac with a 6 GB hard drive for $30.00 and I have some others with more memory I think I will sell for more.

    Hardy would work fine on those early tray-loading iMacs, as long as you remember that unless they upgraded their firmware, there is an 8gb partitioning limitation. Original machines with only 6gb drives won't shows this problem of course. The slot-loaders I believe are limited to 128 gb, so perhaps just remember to allow guided partitioning to use 7.5gb or 125gb to be safe respectively.

    With only 96mb of ram, I think you'd be limited to doing only a very bare minimum install, such as a server, and then if you wanted some gui elements, you'd be better off just adding in xorg, xdm, and lightweight window manager ala:
