/host non doveva essere li' all'inizio, ed e' ben possibile che la cosa sia stata corretta negli updates successivi. In ogni caso non cambia molto visto che dovresti comunque avere accesso ai files.
quindi in pratica l'errore era prima, quando visualizzavo host con il nome di "Partizione da 100 gb" come HD sia sul desktop che in risorse del computer e non ora che in risorse vedo solo Filesystem e il cdrom?
ok se č coi va benissimo, ed effettivamente non cambia nulla pero quando succedono queste cose uno vuole capire se ha sbagliato qualche cosa oppure č tutto normale!

I actually WANT my host drive to be seen as a hard-disk in "Computer".
My /host is the /dev/sdb1 partition (F: drive in windows, I know it's all messed up).
In /etc/fstab I have:
This works, and I can access /media/#4_DOWNLOADS without problems, but I want /dev/sdb1 to be seen as a partition, so it'll display itself in "Computer" and on the Desktop.Code:/dev/sdb1 /media/#4_DOWNLOADS ntfs-3g defaults 0 0
How can I achieve this?

I had the exact same thing occur after plugging in, then unplugging a generic usb video camera.
