Question Looking for a program for doing outlines

I'm a writer and I was wondering if there is a program for doing outlines in Linux?

    Thanks for the help.

OpenOffice.org Writer has some pretty advanced outlining features which I have used before. But I dont know of any other stand alone applications specifically for that.

Using Open Office would be a good way to go. Getting familiar with the program's more advanced features will benefit you greatly. Also, it's easy to use and cross-platform so you can use it on Windows or Mac if you don't have a linux machine available.

Thanks for the OO tips. I will check it out.

I installed FreeMind and have been playing around with it. Works pretty great, no problems so far. It's a different way of looking at things, at least a little bit.

Well, better get back to work!
