I just move to WI from CA in February (new job). After having Vista installed on my computer for < 30 days, I decided to go back to XP, and since XP won't be around forever, I've decided to start learning Ubuntu so I can be 100% linux by the time XP is eol'd.
I just installed 8.04 rc on my Pavilion dv6000 last weekend. Everything except the wireless seems to be working fine and I'm definitely impressed with Ubuntu. I've used Ubuntu and other linux distros in the past, but this is the first time i'm really trying to go to 100% linux.
