    bring forward

first, sorry if this has been discussed already, but I realy do not know what to search for, tried the search engine without luck.

anyway, my problem if anyone got any ideas.

I am running a kubuntu server with email apache and torrent servers.
The problem I got is with rtorrent, what I would like to be able to do is start rtorrent in a remote ssh login then with some command put it safe so that when I shut down the ssh client it will keep running. And the next time I want to login and check it easily bring it forward.

I know there was some command in unix called bf is there anything like them in Ubuntu?

So basicly this is what I want to be able to do, login to server, start rtorrent, bring it away from the front(but still running) logout from the server. Be able to login and bring the old rtorrent process to the front.

    Sorry if I am confusing

    /with regards and thanks Micke
