    where is "$HOME/.screenlets"

if my name is peter, would that make the location home/peter/.screenlets? i know the . means hidden and i tried makeing hidden files visable already but i can't find a .screenlets there, so i created one. but i get the feeling that its the wrong directory cuz after extracting things into as instructed: http://www.beryl-themes.org/content/...?content=66717
(I'm trying to install wallpaper clock. the instructions i tihnk are really minimal and vague... nothing happened after extracting files to /home/peter/.screenlets...

is $HOME/.screenlets just "/" the root folder? there isn't a .screenlets there and i can't create a folder like that in there either...

Its in the Home Folder of yours: Places->Home Folder->Press Ctrl+H to reveal hidden folders->.screenlets

Plus, to install Screenlets, download the .tar.gz file and drag 'n' drop it on the screenlets daemon (System->Preferences->Screenlets)

    Re: where is "$HOME/.screenlets"

$HOME/.screenlets should be the same as ~/.screenlets

~/ is a shortcut for typing /home/peter/ or in my case /home/joe/
