isoccer - soccer game for Ubuntu Linux

We are still developing iteam, but we (me and Mike) also decided to start that soccer game we had in mind. Will be similar to the classics "Sensible World of Soccer" and my ever favorite "Football Glory" (Commodore Amiga 1200 AGA).
So this is just an announce to say that we had just started developing isoccer

Totally awesome, Linux is missing some good sports games (darn EA and all their licensing junk). Starting with such an internationally-played game is perfect for such an international distro! Looking forward to BOTH games very much!

Heck, that looks bloody great. I was never much of a fan of SS, but I thought it could be fun, just never got round to playing it and getting good at it. Hopefully, I could make that up with this game.

Hey Guys

Just by way of introduction I'm the programmer on this project so I thought I better give you guys a heads up on what has been implemented so far:

- OpenGl rendering engine - Yes thats right this is going to be 3d too
- basic AI for player on the cpu team that lets then run for the ball when its near
- AI players now when they are near enough to the goal to shoot.

I'm goinf to make a demo available soo but I havent a internet connection at the moment - gimme a week though.
