    from the first post:
So this is just an announce to say that we had just started developing this game. - April 2008
one would guess it takes more than few weeks to come up with something playable... so NO, you can not play it yet

Yep, meborc is right, the game is in pre-alpha state, don' t worth even a download by now, sorry.
The screenshot shows the ingame real textures, real 3D characters, all is complete and ready to come to life.
At the moment, Mike is trying to insert these 3D graphics into the game 3D Engine. (Big work and code waits for him).

Ok here its is! I had'nt done this until now as I haven't had a internet connection for a few months.

    BUT NOW I HAVE!

The code is now available from source forge and can be easily searched for with isoccer

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/isoccer/

The code is available using subversion and has all the data and some resant models that jorge has done.

We are trying to convert them to md2 as thats seems to be the easiest animation model format to implement at th moment.

If you have any experience in converting blender to md2 or 3ds to md2 we welcome your input.

great work, and keep those updates coming

just a question - is the vertical view of the field something that is going to be final or is it possible to change the camera view in game? rotate or just switch between horizontal/vertical? would be great if it could be implemented

Well Jorge and i have discussed this and we agreed that we want it to be like the original sensible soccer, but if people really want alternative views, then the code is pretty much in place to do that.

We want the game to be a success and previous games did alternative views but died miserably.

Ultimately, if you guys want it, you got it!

let us know and we will be sure to listen!
