Weird Problem With Wubi

I just tried the new version released April 1st, and when I installed Ubuntu, it just starts up like normal, and stays at a black screen with a movable cursor in the shape of an X...
For the record, this is on a Vista machine with an AMD processor...

If it is after the first reboot (after windows) then press esc after selecting Ubuntu and select safe graphic mode

Edit: I uninstalled it and got the newest April 3rd version... downloading the iso now, I hope this works right...

Great, I have another problem now, Linux installs, and when I try to start up, after the Ubuntu loading screen, it gives me a huge error. I am not going to type the entire thing, but a sample of the error would be:
[ 76.971587] Buffer I/O error on device loop0, logical block 65545
[ 76.971613] lost page write due to I/O error on loop0


They are all like that, except the numbers are different on each line.
On a side note, while Ubuntu was installing, my screen was flickering, and I had to install in safe graphics mode.

Press esc when you boot and try the second option (rescue mode)
If you get to a prompt, type exit.
Let me know if you can boot like that

Iit is having crazy video problems, and I am not sure where to type exit... I have a video and am putting it on Youtube of what my problem now looks like...

i've got the same problem... i think its in console mod same error's....
